Mountain flowers

Little dry flowers on top of the Swartberg Pass outside Oudtshoorn. I am always amazed at the resilience of plants growing in an area where in summer the temperature can top 40 degrees Celsius and in winter is often covered in snow.

  4. I know that I would never be able to survive up there but nature is fantastic in what it accomplishes.

  5. Well, this must be a good shot! When I saw it my instant reaction was "what is my photo doing on your blog?" :-) Nope, different flowers and different valley. Too funny though. Well done!!!
