That specific type of flower is home to a most incredible fly - I have some macro shots - everytime I do the Sacramento Trail - I look for those flowers and the specific type of fly - it has incredible eyes. Watch my blog for an update or picture of the fly - soon.
The soft lavender makes a great contrast against that dark greenery.
